For 2008, the Fat Boy® continues its fat and funky reign. Beefed up in 2007 with a 200 millimeter rear tire, this magnificent machine continues to turn heads wherever it rolls. Big tires. Big bars. Big engine. Big fender. And that’s just the beginning. The Fat Boy model is the very definition of a heavyweight motorcycle, delivering a bold styling statement and a wide, comfortable riding stance.
As it approaches, the first thing you notice is the oversized chrome headlamp; followed quickly by the fat FL forks; and the big, beefy front tire and fender. As it passes, your eye is drawn to the Silver, bullet hole disc cast aluminum wheels, the giant bare-knuckle risers and the traditional Fat Bob™ gas tank above the Black powder-coated Twin Cam 96B™ engine with chrome covers. Bringing up the rear is a chopped FL rear fender; rigid suspension styling with hidden horizontal rear shocks; a chrome "horseshoe" oil tank; and big, fat rear tire.
The limited production, 2008 Fat Boy® 105th Anniversary Edition model is serialized on a special nameplate and features a rich Anniversary Copper and Vivid Black paint scheme; 105th tank cloisonné; copper inserts on air cleaner and timer covers; and features an exclusive two-tone seat with copper insert.
